We collect basic profile information (name, email, company, bio) exclusively to enable attendees to schedule meetings with one another during a specific event.

• Visibility: Your profile information is shared only with other attendees who join the same event using the event's unique access link.
• Host Access: Event hosts can view the list of attendees for their specific events.
• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties under any circumstances.

2. Data Retention & Auto-Deletion

Our system employs aggressive data retention limits:

• 24-Hour Rule: All event data, including attendee profiles, scheduled meetings, and chat messages associated with an event, is automatically and permanently deleted 24 hours after the event's scheduled end date.
• We do not maintain long-term user accounts or histories across events.

3. Cookie Policy & Local Storage

This application requires the use of certain technologies to function, but we strictly avoid invading your privacy:

• Zero Tracking Cookies: We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
• Strictly Necessary Storage: We use HTML5 Local Storage (and minimal functional cookies if required) purely for authentication (managing your "magic link" session token or host passcode). This ensures you stay connected to your event profile during the duration of the event.
• Consent Checkbox: By checking the consent boxes on our creation or join forms, you agree to these strictly necessary functional mechanisms.

4. Your GDPR Rights

As a user, particularly those under the jurisdiction of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you hold specific rights regarding your data:

• Right to Access: You can view all data we hold on you by accessing your Attendee Dashboard or Host Dashboard.
• Right to Rectification: You can edit your profile information directly from your dashboard at any time.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Event auto-deletion handles this inherently within 24 hours of event completion. If you need your profile removed before the event concludes, please contact your event host, or delete your browser's local storage for this site to sever your session.
• Right to Restrict Processing: As we only process data to fulfill the immediate functional requirements of the matchmaking service, restricting processing equates to not utilizing the application.
